Ford Mustang 1966 Description

In this auction I have a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe from North Carolina where cars are very clean. This car is powered by a 200 Straight 6 with a manual 3 speed Shift on the floor. The Odometer has 41,435 miles as I am assuming its 141,435 miles. But the Engine and Transmission have been rebuilt 2,000 miles ago. The car is a very clean classic. The interior is in really nice shape. The inner door panels-as the door panels are a two piece panel, the inner panel may need replacing, all other interior parts are in excellent Condition. The headliner is all intact no rips, nice shape. The Seats are in great shape. The carpet has been replaced at one point as it does look newer as it is an factory OEM Carpet. The dash pad has no damage. The car body lines are flat, straight and crisp. The undercarriage, frame and floors are all original, solid steel! There are no holes in the trunk which is surprising for this year. The Doors open and shut like factory. There are pictures showing the area. As you see in the pictures the car is unfinished, I do have all the parts to assemble and some brand new chrome will come with the car as well. The rear windows had to be removed to remove the outside rear quarter molding, as that's why you see the window area in plastic as it kept out the dust. The Windshield and Rear back window have been removed, as I do have them here. The front headlights and assembly with grille I do have which the housings around the headlights have been painted. Also I have the rear housings tail fin that is also painted with the tail lights are included with the auction.
What it will Need: This Mustang will need to be re-painted as the painter didn't put enough coats of clear on the car when it was painted in 2016. The car has been re-sanded at a 600 grit which is ready for painting with a some light cleaning around the window frames. There is no body work to be done. Shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours to paint this car either the factory color 1966 Ford Mustang Y Code or do a color change, it's your choice. The car will need the following: Rear wheel cylinders replaced in the rear- I have these parts. Need a brake job in te rear as well. Also the coil was weak, needs replacing. Needs a new Gas tank, Window Chrome from and rear, Window seals for the Windshield. The glass needs to be installed after the paint. The tires hold air but don't match, as they were used for moving purposes and painting the car. I do have all 4 Original Mustang Hub caps that will be included.
To my knowledge, the previous owner said the Transmission has been rebuilt with new synchronizers and a new Clutch. Also he said the Engine was rebuilt with no more than 2,000 miles on the drive train when sold.
Overall as an experienced Classic Restoration professional as in my opinion, this car is a super solid and clean car. I personally stripped the body and trunk which I found no repair panels. The floors, body and undercarriage are very solid. I have too many other projects to finish at this given moment. I am very meticulous when I am looking for classics to invest my time. Car is in-operateable/doesn't move on it's own. Must be transported by the expense of the buyer. Rolls freely as it's a very light car. This car is sold as is where is condition. This car would make someone a very fine Classic without the $50k-80K Price tag. The car is located in western New York as specified in the location of the auction. This has a clear open Transferable paper work. You could finish the car, sell it for a huge profit.
Transportation: Buyers are responsible for all transportation fees which the Mustang must be paid in full. All parts are in boxes which will be shipped inside the car. I can work with the buyer on being present here to help load.
Payment: $250.00 deposit will be needed with pay pal which is non refundable, with the balance in cash in person.
Any questions please email me as I tried to describe to the best of my knowledge of this Ford Mustang. See my other auctions as well.
