Ford Other 1952 Description

1952 FORD MAINLINE/CUSTOMLINE HOTROD 239c. i. FLATHEAD V8 (8BA) 3spd MANUAL COLUMN SHIFT $$$THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN REPLACED PARTS WITH RECIEPTS!! RUNNING & DRIVING!! Here I have a 1952 Ford Mainline completely customized and ready for car show season!! Car has been coated in Matte White & Matte Black Plasti-Dip. All Chrome on the car has been coated with Plasti-Dip Aluminum Wheel Coating. I re-sealed the front & rear window moldings with black window trim silicone. Trunk has been refinished and has new weather molding. BRAND NEW RIMS & TIRES!!! Steel Ford Replica wheels painted gloss black. and brand new "fat white walls" from Coker Tires! Unique 4" Spike Lug Nuts(chrome). The interior is a custom black & white vinyl design on the original bench seats. There are a couple small tears in the seams of the seats that could easily be fixed. NEW seatbelts! NEW carpet! Gauge cluster & dash lights work! Headlights. tail lights. and brake lights all work! It does have Brand New 1953 Rear tail light lenses. Both the front and rear lights have been Frenched. There is some rust near the bottom of the body on both sides. but it has been sprayed with Rustoleum rust protector and is now sealed inside the Plasti-Dip. The great thing about this paint. is it can be changed at any time for a low cost. and it protects the original paint patina underneath without doing any damage. Suspension: Car has been Lowered 4" in rear with drop blocks & air shocks to keep from bottoming out. and has 2" Drop Coil Springs up front! I have a brand new complete front end kit ($400+) that I didn't have time to install. that will be included with the right offer. Brakes work great! The Engine: Engine bay and engine have been completely cleaned up and painted. This is an original 8BA Flathead V8. I replaced many light bulbs/fuses. the water pumps. thermostats. nbsp;coil. battery. spark plugs & wires. Fuel pump. engine mounts. transmission mount. and rebuilt the original carb. Obviously all filters & fluids were drained and filled. The radiator has been boiled out and pressure tested. All hoses and lines have also been replaced. The engine was painted Cherry Red and outfitted with Chrome Head bolt covers. and . 50cal Bullet Spark wire collectors. I do have a small chrome air cleaner currently on the car and the Original Oil Bath Air Cleaner that came on the engine. which has been painted gloss black. that will also be included. It looks amazing and gets compliments all day!! Overall: The great is a great hotrod to take to shows and Saturday night cruises. or maybe out for a drive-in movie! Like I stated above. there is some rust in the lower panels that is currently coated & protected and the paint does have some blemishes here & there. Its not a perfect Barrett Jackson show car by any means. but was done with the intentions to enjoy. Great thing about Plasti-Dip. if you want to change the colors. you can cheaply and easily. there is also a nice patina underneath the paint that is the same color. I just wanted the solid matte appearance. The driver & passenger window are spider cracked". but solid. I left them cause they really go with the look of the car and add to the uniqueness. It was just out at the VivaLasVegas Rockabilly Car Show in Las Vegas on April 2-5th 2015. The car was built specifically with that show in mind. and its now time for m next project! It got tons of attention as it is quite different from the direction most people go with these cars. I have installed a real WWII grenade on the driver rear quarter where the radio antenna was previously located. it looks great and is coated in Plasti-Dip "Glow" paint. which gives it a blue-fire glow at night! Looks great! The chrome Spiked Lug Nuts are also coated in this paint! There are a few crates with original & extra parts for the car that will be included. I have a Title signed by the owner from New Mexico. but was going to go the Bonded Title route due to it being easier than carting the car to New Mexico and back. which is what Texas/New Mexico would require. If the car reaches the reserve. I will get the bonded title taken care of before you arrive for pick up. For those who may not know. bonded titles are simple and quick to get. they take about half a day and roughly $300. We just got one for a 1951 Cadillac we built. I am in no rush to sell this car. just interested in building my next project. I'm looking to do a late 20's-early 30's tudor sedan. Would be willing to trade with cash on your end. This car makes a great hotrod. rat rod. low rider or whatever else it is that you may like!! Buy today. take to a local show this weekend! I will happily show the car to those who wish to see it. or send whatever pictures you would like. But. at the end of the auction. if you are the high bidder and above my reserve. you own the car. PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU HAVE THE PROPER FUNDS TO PAY FOR VEHICLE!!! $1000 DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 24HRS OF END OF AUCTION!FULL PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS!PICK-UP WITHIN 7 DAYS UNLESS OTHERWISE DISCUSSED BEFORE END OF AUCTION! Any other questions. please contact me either by email or text/call. I prefer phone. as I work in the oilfield and am out of town frequently! Thanks.
