VINTAGE 1971 FORD F100 CUSTOM PICKUP 8Ft BED, 302 V8 AUTOMATIC

Ford F-100 1971 Description

My dad's 1971 Ford purchased brand new in 1971 and continues to be a family item since he passed away. Vehicle was always garage-kept, 1st down in FL where he lived and now in MD where the vehicle is currently located. Though garage-kept does not get used much.....hence the move to sell.
Truck was repainted in original color 1998, and was used to haul building materials in a home construction project in 2005. This truck is NOT a show vehicle, but in terrific shape, paint has evidence that this truck was a work vehicle for a number months. (scratches, scuffs etc)
Bench seat was redone also in 1998........not original....but still in super shape (see interior photos)
There are few problems listed here:
1) Small rust through on on bottom of driver door, (see photo)
2) Some surface rust in the original bed, near both wheel wells(see photo)
3) This is the 302 V8 version with automatic tranny, no PS or power assisted brakes. ENGINE HAS A INTERMITTENT HESITATION ON ACCELERATION, (probably intake manifold gasket, but have not had the time to pull and replace)
4) There is a small high speed drive-line vibration, (drive shaft needs balancing)
5) Wheels of course are not original, do not have original steel wheels or hub-caps
6) After market air conditioning (Sears I think), needs recharging
7) Both rear side marker lamp holders & amber lens have deteriorated, only bracket and bulbs present
8) ALUMINUM TOOL BOX ACROSS REAR BED DOES NOT GO WITH THIS VEHICLE
