Up for auction is one of the best 1929 Ford Model A 2 door Sedans in the country. The car was in dry storage from 1953 to 2006 when bought form 96 year old owner. He said the car had low miles & the original speedometer showed 33,000 original miles. When the project was started nothing was cracked or worn out and the body was the nicest, straightest and most rust freewe have ever seen. 100%NO RUST anywhere in this car. All fenders, doors, hood, splash aprons came with the car from the factory.Paint and body work were all done by professionals who had years of experience.Fit & finish is A-1.(the best) The original bumpers were also used. Mercedes broadcloth,covers a custom fitted aluminum top insert,all new safety glass, Stewart-Werner wing gages & Bonney & Labaron interior. Only the best parts were used on this car - nothing was spared.4932 proven road miles are on the car. It can be driven anywhere at freeway speeds of faster. At 65 to 70 miles per hour the motor is tacking 2100 rpms in overdrive. Let the pictures speak for themselves. This car is very well engineered and thought out. It also has Vintage Air hot water heater that works very well. The motor is a Ford 302 with Edelbrock aluminum heads. The motor has all roller rockers cam & lifters, 600 Holley carburetor with Edelbrock high-rise intake, Electric ignition, Sanderson headers. All new parts and professionally built. Completely rebuilt automatic AOD Overdrive transmission, 2400 stall converter matched to the Cobra Cam shaft. The car has a Ford 8 inch rear end, 373 gears, all new parts. Rear suspension is 4-Bar with Alden coil overs. The frame has been boxed and stepped up in the rear for more clearance. The front suspension is TCI independent with Alden coil overs, plus disk brakes and rack & pinion steering. Walker radiator with mechanical fan & overflow tank. The car has never heated up on hot days. A custom built 15 gallon aluminum gas tank fits under the rear seat cushion. Ididit tilt column with custom banjo wheel. This is one of the best built, bestdriving and best looking two door sedans in the country and anyone would be proud toown it.
