    ‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is happy to offer you this ultra-cool 1940 Ford 2-Door Sedan Deluxe Kustom finished in the gorgeous shade of ‘Flaming Garnet Red’, and built by a life-long Hot-Rodder to resemble the Kustom cars of the 1950’s. He not only wanted a Kustom show car, but he also wanted to drive his car wherever & whenever he felt like it without worrying about reliability. Well as you can see by the photos, he did exactly what he set out to do! The original all steel 1940 Ford 2-Door S...edan body is nice & straight all the way around with the addition of 1958 Lincoln headlights, which look outstanding! The ‘Flaming Garnet Red’ paint is absolutely eye-popping w/ a deep brilliant shine that appears to be a mile deep. All of the chrome & brightwork including bumpers, grill & stainless trim is in excellent condition all the way around the car, and all new glass was installed throughout as well. This wild Sedan sits on original 15” painted steel wheels w/ dog dish hubcaps & beauty rings, wrapped w/ General Altimax radial tires (225/70/R15 on the rear & 185/65/R15 up front). It truly is a one-of-a kind machine! Open the driver’s door and you will find a custom Grey vinyl/faux suede interior w/ original painted dash. Other features include: factory original gauges, vintage Balkamp tachometer, tilt steering column w/ Grant GT steering wheel (both painted body color), Flaming River shifter, Vintage Air Conditioning & Heat, electric cowl vent, electric exhaust cut-out switch, and Clarion sound system in the glove box. The custom interior is extremely comfortable w/ fully adjustable seating for any size person, and seat belts were added for safety purposes. The trunk area is completely finished to match the interior and includes a covered spare tire. Powering this one-of-a-kind Ford Sedan Deluxe is a 350ci SBC crate motor producing 415hp w/ 430 Ft. Lbs./Torque. Features include: Edelbrock aluminum heads & roller rockers, Edelbrock valve covers, Edelbrock intake manifold, Edelbrock 650cfm carburetor, Holley fuel pump, chrome alternator, complete serpentine system, and Mattsons aluminum radiator. The motor is linked to a completely rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission w/ a 2000 stall converter. This Kustom Sedan runs, drives & performs beautifully, has loads of power & torque, and is an absolute blast to drive! It also sounds amazing, especially when you open up the electric cut-outs and let her breathe! The custom built Mattsons aluminum radiator keeps her running nice & cool even in 100-degree summer weather, and the front disc brakes makes sure that you stop when you need to.
