TRAIL PACKAGE: WE INSTALLED THE EM2 TRAIL PACKAGE WHICH INCLUDES FRONT AND REAR PRE-RUNNER STYLE POWDER COATED BUMPERS. REAR RECEIVER HITCH. SWING AWAY SPARE . HIGH LIFT JACK. SWING AWAY JERRY CAN AND COOLER HOLDER WITH RELOCATED LICENSE PLATE LIGHT AND LICENSE BRACKET. WE LEFT THE FACTORY ORIGINAL PAINT IN THE ENGINE BAY SO YOU CAN SEE HOW NICE THIS LITTLE BRONK IS! THE REINFORCED COWL INDUCTION HOOD FITS VERY WELL AND HAS THE FACTORY LATCH ASSEMBLY AS WELL AS HOOD PINS LOCKDOWNS IN CASE YOU FORGET TO REINSTALL THE PINS AND DRIVE OFF. THE PAINT WAS DONE AS FOLLOWS: 320 DA. PRIME AND GUIDE COAT. THEN 320 BLOCK OUT. REPRIME AND GUIDE COAT THEN 400 GRIT BLOCK OUT. THERE ARE ONLY A COUPLE SMALL SPOTS WITH FILLER. EXCELLENT ORIGINAL BODY SO VERY LITTLE BODY WORK WAS PERFORMED. THEN WE PAINTED THREE COATS OF BASE COAT FACTORY "MID. BLUE METALLIC" OR DARK BLUE POLY. THEN WE PAINTED THREE COATS OF CLEAR COAT AND BAKED IT FOR THE SPECIFIED TIME. THE BRONCO HAS NOT BEEN 1500 GRIT WET SANDED AND BUFFED. DOESN'T REALLY NEED IT UNLESS YOU ARE HEADED TO BARRETT JACKSON OR THE CAR SHOW CIRCUIT. THE LIGHT LENSES. HEADLIGHT RINGS. ANTENNA. 351 EMBLEMS. AND RELATED WEATHERSTRIPS ARE ALL FROM TOM'S BRONCO PARTS IN MEDFORD. OREGON. THE WINDSHIELD IS A NEW TINTED GLASS WITH BRAND NEW GASKET. THE DASH PAD COVER IS NEW AND THE DASH IS PAINTED A SLIGHTLY CONTRASTING "TWIGHLIGHT BLUE" FOR LESS GLARE. WE USED FLEXIBLE FLARES AND PAINTED THEM TO MATCH BODY COLOR. INSTALLED THEM WITH STAINLESS STEEL 10-24 SCREWS AND LOCKING NUTS. THE SIDE ROCK SKIDS ARE ALSO BY TOM'S AND POWDER COATED THE SAME TIME AND PLACE AS THE BUMPERS. WE LOVE THIS STYLE BECAUSE PEOPLE CAN'T OPEN THEIR CAR DOORS INTO YOUR BRONK WITHOUT STRIKING THE ROCK SKID NERFS FIRST. LOL ALSO MAKES IT EASIER FOR A 5' SUMPIN WIFE TO GET IN AND OUT BETTER.
