Vinyl Interior SELLER REMARKS You can still get a lot of car for your money with a Mustang coupe. and this 1967 Mustang has a lot of upgrades that make it a strong performer with a classic look. Good looks come easy to cars like this. and the tasteful upgrades make it a great way to celebrate the Mustang's 50th anniversary. The great thing about Mustangs is that no matter what style you're into. there's a car for you out there. If you like a subtle look. maybe this isn't for you. but the high-quality Vintage Burgundy paint does look sophisticated and elegant. even with the painted-on silver racing stripes down the center. Crisp. clean bodywork shows rather well. and the 1967 models. with their taut character line stretching back to the quarter panels are a particular favorite. The deep. rich shine comes from two-stage urethane that shows only minimal signs of use and buffs up well so you'll always be eager to hit the next show. Careful workmanship shows up in the way the stripes wrap into the trunk jambs. but aside from those stripes. the bodywork is quite stock. so it will never go out of style. Bright chrome bumpers. the famous pony "corral" grille and the lovely three-element taillights with chrome frames all look great against the luscious burgundy paint and show that someone really cared about getting this one right. To complement the burgundy bodywork. the interior got a full makeover featuring parchment buckets and handsome dark tan carpets. accented by body-colored door trim. The look is pure Mustang. but you haven't seen it look this good before and the colors really work well together. A fat wood-rimmed wheel is a little fatter than. say. a vintage Shelby-style wheel. but nobody's going to complain from behind the wheel. Handsome gauges cover the basics and experts will note that this car has factory A/C. still a somewhat rare option in 1967. The seats. carpets. and dash pad are all in very good condition overall. and the level of detail. particularly on the dash. is impressive in a car at this price. A digital AM/FM stereo radio was obviously custom-made for this application and doesn't require any hacking of the original dash and you know how we like the no-console look. especially with a 4-speed poking out of the transmission tunnel. This Mustang also includes a fully finished trunk with black carpets just to dress things up a little. With a sweet-running 289 under the hood. this Mustang doesn't mess around on the street. It's dressed right. too. with Ford Blue paint. an open-element air cleaner with correct reproduction decals. and a very tidy satin black engine bay. The big A/C compressor dominates the top end. but if you look closely. you'll see upgrades like the dual master cylinder and a set of long-tube headers that help the 289 build horsepower. It's docile enough to be happy in traffic. but on the open road. you'll delight in running the 4-speed through the gears and with 3. 00 gears out back. it's still comfortable on the highway. A nice-sounding dual exhaust system gives this Mustang a voice that is part of the whole experience. and Torque-Thrust-style wheels with 235/45/17 front and 245/45/17 rear performance rubber updates the look without looking to radical. Still every bit as fun as it was 50 years ago. this handsome little Mustang coupe is ready to enjoy. If you like the classic combination and a bit of flash to go with it. this is the Mustang you've been waiting for.
