1937 Ford 2-door sedan V8 with factory overdrive

Ford Other 1937 Description

From a West Texas estate. this older restoration sedan was owned by the same family since 1960. Engine has been changed to a 1948 59A 100 hp original type V8. I do not know the exact mileage on this car. Factory Colombia overdrive rear end. I have not driven this car enough to say the overdrive works but it probably does. The factory control is attached to the bottom of the dash on the drivers' side. Engine starts easily and sounds good. At idle. the flathead is so quiet it is hard to tell it is still running. All glass is good. brakes are mechanical but seem to work well. This car runs and drives and could be enjoyed as is. Clear Texas title. Car is located in Wolfforth (Lubbock). Texas. When these pictures were taken. the hood prop was bent. I had that repaired and now the hood closes well and latch works securely. The only rust I could find in the car was in the drivers' side floor. It had been covered over with a new Texas license plate.
