NO RESERVE!!!
Up for auction is this 1965 Ford Mustang convertible that is in need of total restoration. This car is Rusty with all of the normal mustang rust. The rear frame rail's are in good shape except at the ends where the leafspring shackle attaches. It needs some attention there. The front frame rails are in excellent shape with no rust through. The torque boxes are still somewhat attached solid and not completely rotted through. It needs a floor, trunk floor, fenders, one door, both quarter panels, And both outer wheel houses. The inner will houses are still very solid along with the convertible top crossbar that is welded across the transition panel. All in all this is a very restorable project.
I will also offer a left and right inner and outer rocker panel complete, left and right floor patch panels, and both quarter panels included in the sale.
Also included in the sale is a 302 block, already machined, with a new crank and bearing kit from crankshaft rebuilders. also the connecting rods and the heads for the engine.
All these items are included in the sale. Also there is a title with the car from Maryland,it is not salvage But it is signed by the prior owner. Title is in hand but depending on your state it could be defaced.I will include info on how to get a new title if needed.
This car rolls freely and steers just fine. It has chrome wheels with tires that still have tons of tread.
It has the original 8 inch rear end, and it has drum brakes in the front. All the pedals and linkages are still intact.
All of the body gaps are still lined up almost perfectly, meaning that the body is not rotted as bad as most.
This will be a no reserve auction highest bidder wins the car!!!
