Ford Mustang 1967 Description

1967 FORD MUSTANG - CONVERTIBLE
If you are a serious lover of vintage Mustangs here is one you need to add to your collection...or just make it your daily driver...or show car...drive it in parades, whatever!
This vehicle is owned by a lady who now lives in Florida. I have the car in my possession. This car was purchased by her husband in 2003, best she can recall. Her husband supervised the rotisserie restoration, that included an engine replacement. The original 289 has been replaced with a 302.

He began the contracted restoration almost immediately. It was not completed before his death in 2008. She believes the final work was complete in 2009 or 2010.

It has been garage kept and babied since then.
Lets talk about this one......

VIN NUMBER: 7F03T210058 Clean Virginia title.
The replacement 302 cubic inch engine starts immediately, There are no undesirable knocks, hisses, rattles, or leaks!

I have driven this car. It drives well, but honestly like a 1967 vehicle. It does have power steering.
The automatic transmission, also original, shifts as expected!
The black leather interior is absent any wear, rips, or marks. See the photos!

The top is new.
The Michelin X Radial tires are in excellent condition. The size is P195 / 75 / 14.

The chrome wheels show some areas of emerging rust.

The title shows 238,000 original miles....but I doubt it. The odometer reads 26997.4

I suspect that the owners read the odometer as six digits, not the five digits and a decimal.
This is a NO A/C vehicle.

Often when listing vehicles for others I will word smith what they tell me. In this case, I've chosen to simply copy and paste what she sent me.....beginning NOW!

If I want to pick at anything on this car it will be that the driver door doesn't align well when closed. It closes easily and properly but I don't like the aft alignment point. To make this car perfect and better looking I'd replace the wheels and tires. I think raised white letter tires would look more appropriate than the white walls that are on it.
