This classic Mustang is great example of an unrestored driver. It is a mostly original car with the only changes being a respray and a modern stereo & speakers. Otherwise, the car is as it came. It is powered by the 200ci inline 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission, a setup that is reliable, durable and reasonably efficient. We realize many buyers want a V8, but at least it's not an automatic! One really nice option present is air conditioning, which is currently working. This Mustang is also equipped with power steering and in general is an easy, fun car to drive. Our service in preparation for sale included a new battery, setting the points, oil change, carburaetor adjustment, new tires, new brake wheel cylinders, brake fluid flush, new a/c compressor & charge, a new hood latch & springs and a thorough detail. Due to the age, this vehicle is exempt from inspection and odometer reporting. if it needed to be inspected, it would pass. The odometer works, but it is only 5 digits so we cannot say with certainty what the mileage is. Given the overall condition, it's unlikely to be more than 131,688. This is a solid, non rusty example with a clean, NC title. It is likely to have always been a Southern car, but we know for sure it has been in NC since 1994. There are several cosmetic imperfections which can be seen in the photos we provided. We will provide additional photos upon request for serious out of state buyers. Please note that vehicles pre-1981 do not have a 17 character VIN and cannot get a Carfax history check. We did get the car directly from the previous owner who had it for the last 13 years.
