Ford F-250 1994 Description
One of thenicer OBS Powerstrokes you'll find, speciallyin the upper Midwest, ome rough edges here and there but overall in excellent shape. I almost always get complimented on it every time I take it out. Never thought this day would come but I find my heart's not in it anymore.at least $5k in parts alone, ll receipts since purchase. I still enjoy it but I find my priorities elsewhere, ight regret the sale, ho knows. Have owned for 12 years, ought the truck in May of '03, ook a one-way flight to Austin, X and drove her home. Has never left me stranded, ame close once when the UVCH failed, ut flawless otherwise. I've done a lot of mods over the past few years with the FULL intent on driving cross country. It's my estimation that you could put another 200k on it at this point with little or no issues.Originally from Texas, rove it through three winters until I changed jobs, as been stored winters since. Body is real clean with the exception of rust poking through in the infamous spot on all OBS boxes, ight above the wheel openings. Can take some more close up pics if requested. Paint is pretty good overall, e-spray in '03 shortly after buying
The truck is a BEAST. I'll probably never own another as powerful, ill do circles around any stock OBS. Yes it still won't win many races against the late model stuff but being a 2wd standard cab not as much weight to pull around and isstill FAST, ill bury the needle effortlessly, nd will also pull the house over. Never dyno'd but by all accounts it should put down 350hp, 00+lbs at the wheels. It also "rolls coal".Can support larger injectors but wanted to keep it cross-country tow worthy. With all that speed, hetruck also stops better than it ever did with the rear discs over the drums.
All parts onlyhave between 4 and 7k miles on them unless noted. Item's of interest are:
Swamps Babies Injectors
TS 6 position tuner with various Swampstunes
Swamps modded IDM - this alone woke it up pretty good, ut nothing compared to the tuner
Adrenaline HPOP with late [new] IPR
International t444ewater pump with filter (spare included)
S&B airbox
3" Stainless downpipe with 4" Magnaflow exhaust - this is actually 10 years old, ut in exceptional shape
IH bellowed up-pipes, eramic coated from Riff Raff Diesel
Dieselsite Wicked Wheel 2
non-EBPV turbo pedestal, br>Beans electric fuel, ith spare filters
6.0L Intercooler with Banks pipes
CCV Mod
**Rebuilt ZF5 S547 (upgraded from S542) with a South Bend OFE clutch rated for 450hp
**Rebuilt 10.25 Sterling with genuine Ford 3.55's and a Truetrac posi carrier - parts alone were 1k plus
Rebuilt driveshaft with Genuine Spicer solid body u-joints
E350 rear discs with Chevy 3/4 ton calipers
Electric line lock for rears, his works excellent, anufacturer name escapes me at the moment. I do still have the parking brake pedal and cable from the truck too.
Bilstein shocks
Redhead steering box with Borgeson intermediate shaft
All new Urethane suspension bushings, br>I actually disassembled the leafs, andblasted, oated surface area with Slip Plate # 33203 Graphite Dry Film Lubricant
Also sandblasted the i-beams and all suspension brackets as the rust was expanding under the powdercoating. Some surface rust since, ut excellent shape overall
Rebuilt oil cooler
Fresh Front rotors and bearings
new/refurbished XLT wheels
Smoothie front bumper with matching grill - this is NLA from what I can tell, ice piece
New Driver's door pins, o saggy doors!
Monster Glow Plug relay
Fresh Alternator and idler pulleys
Drawtite Class 5 (10k lb)bumper pull hitch in excellent shape with matching class 5 tongue
38 Gallon Spectra rear tank
Seat is a Dodge Quad cab rear with custom mounts on factory rails, ack/upright doesn't latch
Exhaust temp [pyrometer], oost, nd HPOP gauges on pillar cluster
The Bad:
Small oil cooler leak right above the filter boss, 've seen this exact leak on other 7.3's, as been consistent, ever worsened over the years. I did rebuild the cooler, ll new gaskets, t was good for about a month and the leak returned in the same spot.
Dipstick oil leak - this only appeared after the CCV mod, othing substantial.
Could probably use a new windshield, r at a minimum some kind of polish. There are 3 small rock hits on the passenger side that have been the since I bought it.
No AC, completely removed this as the truck is no longer a daily driver and the vent windows are awesome. Custom made firewall fan box (see pics) to clean up the engine bay, br>Some rust poking through the top of the box wheel wells in the typical OBS spot
Bed could also use some attention - has a cheap DIY bed liner on it that has not held up well (see pics)
No windshield washer pump or reservoir, arness connections still there
Pyrometer not working with parking lights on, uspect radio interference
Spares:
Working turbo, ad replaced the original when troubleshooting an oil leak and had it on there for about 75k miles, erfectly functional
Spare IDM, CM, CVH including new valve cover gasket
Replacement harness pigtail ends as well
"Ford" stamped tailgate (pre '87) also included with replacement decals
Feel free to ask any questions, hanks for looking!
