There’s no denying that we are right in the middle of summer. Hopefully you’ve had the pleasure of attending some of the fabulous car shows in the good ole US. If you did attend but haven’t been fortunate enough to drive the American dream maybe this wonderful 67 pony will inspire you to get in the game!
Up for immediate purchase and your consideration is a quality “2 owner” investment grade Mustang presented in Acapulco Blue!
Ready to be enjoyed / rare opportunity!
The serious buyer is strongly encouraged to call 314-497-9470 to find out how to acquire this classic stallion before the next guy puts it in his stable!
There’s quite a bit that can be said about this factory 1967 C Code Ford.
I will try to give a brief description regarding its overall condition, history and its drivability.
The car you see pictured here was originally purchased by a small business owner in Wentzville Mo. Evidence proves that he was a Ford fan and a lover of the Mustang since its debut. The impulse to actually purchase wouldn’t give way until the spring of 1967 when Sherwood Ford placed this beauty on their showroom floor.
For the most part or at least until 1974 the car seems to have been used primarily as a daily driver.
After a few years of usage history points to it being placed on the shelf sometime around 1980 (mainly because the new family Renault Alliance sports wagon became the work horse).
Subsequently the decision to put it up for sale eventually transpired and new ownership came shortly thereafter.
The second owner most certainly used it a bit more extensively. There were many special photos of the family enjoying it and one in particular of his daughter driving it to high school prom. Right out of the gate this vehicle sets itself apart from most classic cars in the market place today ‘it has been truly cherished and cared for”!
At any rate a respectable restoration was started sometime in the late nineties. It however was put on hold for a few years before completion due to other priorities.
After being stored for several years the restoration process was back underway (approximately 2002). The climax of much hard work and tedious labor produced this beauty!
One of the first things that I will touch on is what has quickly become a fan favorite! This of course is the incredible shade of Acapulco Blue paint that was laid down by Kool Customs in Jefferson City Mo.
According to the previous owner the body work wasn’t extensive (almost a non factor).
Many man hours invested making sure the contour of each panel was smooth and uniform.
The finish product is very respectable {impressive craftsmanship}.
Since the vehicle had never been involved in any sort of wreck the body lines are in step with original tooling specifications.
The base coat / clear method was utilized to apply the paint & there are no major imperfections to speak of.
Let me say at this point that the overall presentation of this pony car is simply magnificent!
The brilliant aqua blue exterior almost looks wet in direct sunlight! There’s plenty of metallic incorporated in the enamel so compliments are always plentiful! There’s never a dull moment when you’re behind the wheel of this Mustang “camera phones are always busy taking pictures by everyone who comes in contact with it”!
All of the original chrome, stainless and supporting trim has either been replaced or refurbished.
New front and rear bumper were installed (N.O.S. sanctioned components) along with the bumper guards.
The head light bucket trim, grill edge moldings & chrome back up light retainers are all in incredible shape.
A new yet iconic running pony fuel cap was installed to keep the tail section up to par.
The trunk edge chrome / stainless is in near flawless condition also.
You will have no problem holding your head high at the local cruise inns.
Each and every tail light bezel was replaced with the factory insulation.
Guarding this pony from rock chips and road debris is a cinch thanks in part to a stellar set of rocker panel moldings (excellent shape).
Total nostalgia and revisions of route 66 will always be in play when focusing on the pristine turn signal louver hood (still functioning perfectly)!
Every piece of glass along with the front and rear windshield is also in fantastic shape.
To top things off a beautiful black vinyl roof provides incredible contrast and truly wakes up the exterior!
Again this Mustang is ready for any venue
SHOW OR GO!!!
Now that details have been discussed regarding the exterior let’s see what she has to offer inside!
Upon opening the door of this 68 Ford you will find a very inviting interior!
The original black standard buckets and rear bench are in pristine shape! Both were replaced at the time of the complete restoration.
Most of the work was performed at (Baden upholstery and Auto solutions) this company specializes in restoring top notch classic cars!
The seat buns, seat cushions received extra padding {excellent hold pattern}.
Quite a few restoration shops tend to neglect the need to replace the lumbar supporting cushions when restoring classic Mustangs. No worries here, all of the hard work has been done for you!
You will notice a definite difference the moment you sit inside!
The dash pad was replaced not long ago (excellent condition / free from damage).
Left to right you will find a near perfect set of factory style door panels with new attaching hardware!
The inner quarter upholstery is up to snuff and coincides well with the rest of the interior!
The packing tray & door seals are in nice condition.
Perfectly fashioned at the roof line is a nice headliner with working dome light.
The gauges that are encompassed by sunken pods jump into action when engaged.
An aftermarket cd player along with a set of superior door speakers grace the cockpit!
Loop pile carpet covers the base from front to rear. A wonderfully crafted set of Race ready Cobra floor mats helps to provide a custom look that keeps the compliments coming!
All & all the interior of this Mustang is well presented. It takes you back to 1967 each & every time you climb behind the wheel!
She even has a nice molded trunk mat & spare to boot!
Now that I have given several reasons why you should love this Ford…… I will talk about what makes it Americas favorite original pony car!
No Mustang can truly be considered a muscle car without having a factory V/8!
The heart and soul of this horse is its STOUT factory 289 engine. The factory engine block is very strong and received an overhaul of sorts in 2013!
Just twist the key and it responds without hesitation “loves the open road”!
The intake was treated to new gaskets and the carburetor was rebuilt a short time ago.
Recently new plugs, wires, thermostat, ignition coil, belts, hoses, water pump, fuel pump and too much more to list was installed for maximum performance and reliability.
Harden valve seats have been installed to burn unleaded fuel “important detail that most fail to address”!
Although the car is very user friendly ….it still has enough power to command street respect!
You must drive this vehicle to appreciate it!
LET’S FIRE HER UP!!!

You’ll absolutely love hitting the freeway in this Mustang! Whenever you reach your point of destination she leaves you begging for more!
Nice hallmark decals can be found on the air cleaner. A beautiful set of chrome valve covers with new gaskets adds just the right touch!
The radiator has been flushed and serviced so keeping things cool under the hood is a breeze!
There are no words that can explain how wonderful it feels to know you can hit the road in confidence!
This Mustang actually performs, handles & drives like a limited ownership vehicle!
This little Mustang came factory equipped with front disc brakes (red calipers hide underneath the wheels) stops on a dime!
Many suspension parts have been replaced so handling is superior!
What would a classic Mustang be without a rumbling dual exhaust system?
Consider the question rhetorical since this pony has chambered performance mufflers that sing a sweet note each and every time you mash the pedal!
Here you have the total package. A classic Ford Mustang that sounds & looks incredible!
But that’s not all……To top things off there is a excellent set of 15 inch Magnum 500 Ralley wheels (Bull Dog aggressive stance) tucked underneath along with a brand new set of raised white letter performance tires!
Guys driving all the modern muscle cars today can’t wait to give you thumbs up when you’re cruising!
Don’t miss out on your chance to own a quality investment! You may find another pony but you will be hard pressed to find one that has been treated as a member of the family (cherished & cared for)!
This Mustang has been meticulously maintained!!!
The time, effort & money spent preserving this car can’t be properly measured. That being said I have set a very reasonable reserve on it! She is being offered at a fraction of what it cost to keep her in this condition through the years!
I saved the best part for last….she’s rust free!
I have taken several detailed photos showing just how SOLID this vintage Ford is! You can actually still see the original spot welds on the floor pans!
At the end of the day you can consider this vehicle an investment that is ready to be enjoyed ….needs nothing!
