Ford Mustang 1967 Description

One of the most popular year models for the Ford Mustang was the 1967 model. The body styling remained similar to the 64, 5 and 66 but Ford gave the quite a few important exterior upgrades that give the car a bolder, ore muscular look. These changes are the reason so many Mustang enthusiasts favor this year over the others. It is one of the last years of the iconic first generation Mustang design and it was the 1st time significant upgrades occurred since the inception of the car. These really great upgrades included the slotted vent treatment near the rear wheel openings on the side of the body and the rear face of the car was changed from a straight back panel to a concave design that accentuated the rear tail lights. The frone grill was widedned as well to give the car a sportier appearance from the front angle and the performance w=also improved over the previous years. The suspension was tuned further and the feel of the car was a little heavier. The Mustang was growing into it's new role as a force in the Muscle Car craze that was gripping the country in the late 60's. This particular car has another very nice cosmetic upgrade in the turbo-thrust style wheels and a nice set of meaty tires.
