• 1951 Ford 2 Door Coupe- Custom
• Flathead 8- 3 speed on column

This is a great and I mean great running Flathead- that's been built with care and understanding on what should and shouldnt be done to a motor like this.

I was alittle tired of the " original " Flathead 8's barely being able to zip up a hill!! WELL this one will!!

Heres a list of whats been done int he last 60 days or less

Engine completely gone through, edelbrock aluminum heads, offenhauser dual high rise, new polishe, chromed carbs, scoops, msd polished distributor, electric fuel pump, all new wiring, all new fuel lines, linkage, gas pedal and brake pedals, including new gas tank and sending unit, new brakes, dual optima batteries all run to trunk, trunk is all sound matted. New 2 inch lowering kit, all new radiator and hoses. There are new headers carried through to new twin shotgun exhausts, all flowmaster. The rims and tires are as shown white walls with beauty rim and rings.....I was thinking about buying new Rocket Style 5 spokes ..

This car runs really really good and the engine rips! Car is straight and rust free

Heres what she needs:

new wiper blades and arms, new horn button ( i have in box for you ) new passenger door handle ( this one keeps falling off, just need new one ) and trunk needs carpet. ( trunk has been sound proofed ready to finish )gauges need to be either modified or added ( 3 cluster)

Car had good glass, chrome is real nic, interior looks great, new headliner dash, and paint is pretty good ( not great but really good) I have fender well covers too

Due to house remodel i have to sell this great car........its my wifes favorite..!

I have ( as usual ) about TWO TIMES in this car what I want for it.....I have set the reserve to what I hope to get....

FYI- Car is 12 volt....and has (2) $ 175.00 Red Optima batteries in trunk that are brand new

and in series. Car is ready for sound system to be installed.

I was going to buy gauge cluster as man dash cluster ( 6 inch round center gauge ) doesn't work.

To answer a question Ive been asked and to be honest, I bought car apprx 1.5 years ago, it was to be a turn key car,, it wasn't so I started from front to back, I originally paid way too much for the car I received and then put in tons of $$$.....to make it right.

I hadn't planned on selling it when I had all the work done, but my house comes first and is 2/3 done we need the funds to complete our remodel of home.
