Ford F-150 1992 Description
1992 Ford F150 XLT 5.0 V8 Custom Colored Silver With Built In Modifications
This was my work truck and wasn't driven100% of the time while in my possession, but it runs just fine with no hitches and is a really great truck. I just don't need it anymore as I've moved onto other work and need something more fuel efficient.
The truck is American madeand American remade by hand. Very easy to work on I've done a majority of the work myself aside from what needed a lift. It's up to date on all of it's maintenance such as filters and changes and had a tune up in addition to all of the work put into it a month ago. It's so easy to work onI was able to change the serpentine belt myself in under 10 min and stand by my statement so much I'm willing to take it off and put it back on toshow anyone who's interested in the truck howeasy it is to maintain.
It's a great truck for a first time truck owner or a kid's first vehicle. Especially if you want your kid to learn how to work on their vehicle. I used the truck to teach my younger brother.
There's a lot of love put into this truck from the headpiece to the tailgate so please don't buy it for a derby or to flip it into a mud truck.
The mileage is high, but most of the parts on the truck have been swapped out by this point and are relatively new or brand new. I've personally never had it die on me even going out of state and carrying a load.
Modifications and Features Include: Extended Bed, Bed Liner, Power Windows, AC, Heat, Overdrive, Cruise Control, Smoker Windows, Additional Horns Mounted Below The Wheel, Custom Goose Headpiece,
Recent Work Done: In the last month alone there is a new fuel pump, new fuel filter, air filter, cabin filter, oil filter (including change with sticker showing next mileage), IAC valve, Rotor Head, Spark Plugs and wires, radiator (optimized not new), Exhaust Piping, Fuel Dampener
The truck had problems running in the past, but with all of the new work in the last month it's all been fixed.
Remaining Problems: Small oil leak (Only leaks a small amount when parked in idle doesn't leak enough that you have to refill the oil between changes), No key for doors (the doors are ripped off of other trucks even though it's unnoticeable and a new key for the doors would have to be acquired to lock them), Parking Brake Busted (The wire was old and rusted and snapped on use. Not really needed as it's an automatic, but is fixable and currently rigged so as not to be scraping the pavement.)
The exterior of the ruck is a bit banged up, but it's an American made metal frame with only a dent here or there. Honestly if you wanted to put the time or money into it the few dents could be worked out, but I personally saw them as battle scars.
