Ford Mustang 1973 Description

This a Rare VIN Ride. I bought this car 2/3/2004, as it was the only Q code, 4 speed with AC that I had seen. The included Marti Report (google it) documents this claim nicely as a one of one. I have only painted the car in 12 years and done routine maintenance. This a garage kept ride from the last days of the classic muscle car era. Sweet exhaust sound with no leaks. This car cranks immediately, accelerates strong and drives well. 4 speed original Hurst shifter. NO SMOKE. Glass is good. Seats and dash without tears or significant wear. Power steering and brakes. Original forged aluminum wheels. AC works! The AM/FM radio was working at the time I installed an under dash modern radio. I believe it to be fine as it the red station light on the unit comes on at the appropriate frequency for local stations. No trunk or floor pan rust. Front end is sound. Slight PS leak. Lighting, brakes, transmission work good. This is a 43 year old top of the line driver quality car that could be converted to a "one of one" with a year correct engine - if that is in your head for the future. I have sought to accurately describe the attractive features and deficits of my ride. Suggest you decode the vin and ask for binding sale canceling casting declarations forcompletion of sales on other cars you consider. Can directly email video (27 meg file) of car cranking, idling.
Issues:
1-Rt door, front lower with a ¼ in paint bubble.2-rear bumper with barely detectable inward bend.3-front spoiler with two small bends from parking curbs.4-engine bay clean but not dressed out.5-driver door edge with small chips where I have opened it into the wall beside where she is garaged.6-Only interior injury is 2 in crack in drivers door arm rest covered with electrical tape.7. Correct 9" 3.25:1 rear end by VIN - No tag. Required with AC.8. Correct 4 speed with hurst shifter by transmission tag RUG-BJ1.9. Correct AutoLITE 4300 4B carb10. AC tag correct with build date 02/73.11. THE ENGINE IS A 351 CLEVELAND but I believe it to be a 1970 engine based on the exhaust manifold casting and the valve cover decal number (KK612136). I am unwilling to pull the heat shield or oil pan to confirm a matching block. I suspect the carb, AC, PS (aftermarket), and alternator were transplanted to this engine. 11. The intake manifold has a performance upgrade with a Shelby model (951D-9424-D). THERE IS ONE ON EBay ASKING $4500. Possible 4000 swap of this for a $3500 profit. Search the web and see.12. Has electronic ignition.13. The factory vinyl 3/4 roof was removed by the previous owner. Easy to replace if desired. Google "1973 mach 1 vinyl top" - select images, to see original appearance.
Questions welcome toeBay. Will Check each day around 8 pm eastern.
