Ford Ranchero 1959 Description

A Couple of years ago I went to see an RV belonging to an older lady. she told me her husband died 9 years ago and it was time to sell some of his things. Whilst looking at the RV in this huge barn/garage I noticed the pick up under dust sheets in the corner. I asked about it and we pulled the covers off and underneath was probably the nicest vehicle I have ever seen and then she said "It was my daddies truck he ran shine" It seems back in the day Moonshiners had a lot of disposable income and liked nice vehicles so he brought this Ranchero new with the Galaxie trim then at a later date had the 429 fit. Her husband then restored the truck to its present condition but then unfortunately died before it was finished the truck was stored under covers till i found it. The body work is all like new. pearl Diamond white over pearl inferno red looks fantastic. The poer brakes all look new. new shockers. lowered suspension. set of 4 new Keystone 5 spoke classic chrome wheels and new tires. new fuel tank and lines and fuel pump. new carb. new battery. town and country radio. all chrome like new. air con. new exhaust. new radiator and hoses. power steering. The truck is 99% completed but I have unfortunately ran out of time.
