1956 Ford Courier Sedan Delivery 137 bhp. 223 cu. in. OHV inline six-cylinder engine. three-speed manual transmission. coil-spring independent front suspension. live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs. and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 115. 5 in. The Courier offered here was built in Dearborn on May 7. 1956. It was finished in Raven Black and equipped. as it is today. legendarily durable 137-brake horsepower. six-cylinder engine. which was mated to a three-speed manual transmission. In the course of a previous complete cosmetic restoration. its appearance was dressed up with Fiesta Red side panels and the interior was reupholstered in black and red vinyl. The paint is a deep dark black and shines really nicely. It has a few blemishes as expected from a used classic vehicle of this age. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts. The car still has the original components. including a power seat. an AM radio. chrome vents over the windows. front and rear stone guards. stainless rocker moldings. sun visor and roof rack. The back in nicely trimmed in black carpet.
