This has to be one of the nicest Birds out there with a little over 35. 00 miles. Thought to be original. but I can not prove it so will will be sold as unknown. Correct Torch Red paint with White hard top only. Paint that is very nice. with a few small chips. The car has never had rust. and had been stored indoors as a display at Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri. It had only been driven in parades as a promotional car for the past 10 years prior to my purchasing the car a year ago. Since then I have had everything serviced and have driven it in parades and great road trips. Drives and handles great. and really gets the attention. Due to age and space am shrinking my toys to a manageable level. My loss is your gain if you want a true collector Bird to celebrate The Tbirds 60th anniversary in 2015. The red and white interior is like new. with the seats. door panels and headliner in great condition. The glass is good and the car has power windows and power seats that work. The original AM radio and clock are there. but do not work. The tach. gas guage and speedometer all work. The matching numbers 292 V8 engine purrs like a kitten. and has plenty of power. The 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive shifts great and is smooth and tight. The emergency brake works. The hood. trunk and doors open and shut easily. The Remington Wide Whitewall G78/15 tires drive straight down the road with no vibration. and are nearly 100% tread depth. There is no weather checking on the tires.
