Mechanical:A custom built 1923 Ford T-Bucket Roadster by Backyard Builders in Albuquerque NM. The tube frame is fitted with a narrowed 9-inch Ford rear end with 4:11 posi gears. and suspended with coil over shocks and a 4 link setup. up front. a 3-inch dropped tube axle is suspended suicide-style meaning that the axle is mounted ahead of the transverse leaf spring and traditional styl hairpin radius rods keep things in line. A reversed Corvair steering box with a long drag link. WILLWOOD front disc brakes and stock rear drum brakes complete the chassis. The engine is basically a stock 454 Chevy big block with a polished Weiand 6:71 blower with twin 650 CFM Holley carbs. which sit proudly atop the chrome and plished mill. 8. 5 to 1 compression ratio and a 12% under drive on the blower provides dependable drive ability. a 4-row aluminum radiator keeps things cool. A polished 400 turbo transmission completes the drive line. EXTERIOR:The Total Performance glass body was massaged and finished with a slick coating of custom mixed purple metallic base-clear urethane. Pin striping artist laid down some file lines and lettering as well as the Jokers Wild artwork. The chopped windshield provides a racy profile. Polished Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in Coker Bias-ply tires add the final touch of sparkle and those super wide rear tires. proclaim the true Hot-Rod look.
