Ford Other 1934 Description
1934 Ford Tudor Sedan with 1963 Buick special Nail head motor. Motor is a J code all aluminum block and heads. 215 HP. 11:1 compression. 240 lbs FT of torque. Back in the day these motors were used for marine and auto racing due to the very high power to weight ratio. These stock blocks were used by Mickey Thompson and Dan Gurney in the Indy 500 and has also been very popular for Hot Rods. Great looking and a very cool Nail Head. This motor was called one of the best Hot Rod motor ever built by Hot Rod magazine. It was bored and rebuilt using all Chevy 350 parts. Motor runs but does not currently have a carb. Comes with a stock Buick 4-speed transmission and shifter (aka Saginaw 4). Body has a very solid roof with good wood. door post is very solid. The bottom 6" of the car needs to be replaced and the floor but will make a very solid car. Doors are in very good condition but same as the body needs the outer 6" replaced or can be left as is for a Rat Rod. New motor mounts. trans mount. and full tubing floor have been installed. Comes with garnish moldings. grill shell (rough but good for a Rat Rod) dash and alt bracket. Also very good Studebaker steering wheel. column. and steering box that is mounted to the frame. Frame is stock 34 in good shape but front frame horns have been shortened. Have exhaust manifold and other small parts. Dodge rearend. I have a CLEAR 33 Ford Michigan title that comes with the car. Also comes with 4 sedan/coupe doors plus fenders. extra suspension and misc parts (see pictures). Seller has the right to end auction early as car is for sale locally. Sold as is no warranty.
