1979 Ford F150 odometer: 3000 fuel : gas transmission : automatic title status : clean cylinders : 8 cylinders Well. you've heard it before. but it's finally time to part with my baby. I'll try not to get too long -winded. but with the amount of time and money I have in this girl it will be hard. Engine: 1978 truck 460. bored . 030over. Keith Black hypereutectic pistons. isky cam. lifters and valve springs. heads and deck were trued 9. 6:1 compression. Runs on pump gas. Crank turned . 010/. 010. New oil pump and pick up and water pump. Air cleaner housing is a customized dual snorkel factory w/ functioning hot air doors and heat riser. Factory 4bbl intake with new Holley 750dbl pumper. electric choke & vac. secondaries. Dbl roller timing chain. stock exhaust manifolds w/ fully welded 316 stainless dual exhaust w/mandrel bent elbows into stainless Flowmaster 50's. I used L&L mounts for the motor. alt. and PS. Alt and Ps pump are new. All ignition parts are new. New torque converter. C6 trans completely rebuilt w/ new clutch packs bearings etc. shifts perfect. Truck has less than < 3. 00 miles on everything Front leaf sprung Dana 44 has new bearings. axle joints. axle bearings. seals and Warn Premium hubs. I even put stainless hub retaining bolts. All brake parts including booster. master. proportion valve lines calipers. drums. wheel cyl. etc. were replaced with new. T case was disassembled w. new output/input bearings and resealed. rear 9" LS was completely rebuilt w/ new seals. bearings. clutches. pinion bearing seals etc. Front drive shaft was balanced and all new joints. Rear 2 piece shaft was completely rebuilt and balanced w/ new yokes. grease seals. u-joints and new midship bearing. 3. 50:1 gears. Suspension was topped off w/ a 2" Rough Country lift with RC shocks and stabilizer. She rides on 15x8 589's and 33"BFG AT's. No curb rash. no weather checking. The little nubs just wore off of the tires this summer. Body was completely removed from frame. Cab is from AZ. box is from Tx. All sheetmetal is factory ford. original rockers and cab corners. Entire underbody was blasted and coated w/ coal tar(kind of like bedliner) The inside the box has spray-in bedliner. gate is factory Ford w/ all new internals and hinges. Entire frame was blasted and epoxy primed and sprayed w/ black epoxy. Body was reattached using all stainless bolts. Body is all Ford has been sprayed with 2000 Torreador red base/clear. It has the rear moveable quarter windows. All weather stripping is new including windshield and rear new slider. The mirrors are power from a 96 Bronco and work. Interior was set up w/ 2000 front 60/40 bench and rear bench in warm gray color. Door panels are XLT w/ chrome and wood grain. Dash and headliner are done in matching gray. Carpet is new charcoal gray. Dash trim is new w/ chrome and wood grain. Tilt wheel and a new factory Ford steering wheel. It's too pretty and is too special to me to use as a DD. so I put it in parades and take it out a few times each summer. I built the truck to be used and driven and be reliable. I just got too carried away I guess. Asking $24. 00. OBO. I'd like to sell ASAP. but I don't have to. I won't let it go cheap since I have at least $36. 00 in actual cash plus hundreds of hours in this truck. I would also consider a clean 78-79 bronco as a partial trade. It needs to be running and driving and solid body. It must have all AC parts with Auto trans. Green and White would be perfect. All I want is a driver. something in the $4-$5 grand range. The rest will need to be cash. May consider an 04 Buick Regal GS with <100. 00 miles in clean shape or a 68 olds cutlass solid driver. I have hundreds and hundreds of pics of the process so if you want something particular let me know. The truck is in storage for the winter. So there you have it. I have had several offers of $15. 00 on this truck and I am not willing to go that low. so don't be surprised if I don't respond to your low ball offer.
