Ford Model A 1930 Description

Due to a lack of space and too many cars. I am selling my '30 Coupe. This was our first Model A. and our primary tour car for the last 15 years. It has been very reliable and a nice driving car. It runs and drives well with good brakes and a new clutch and pressure plate. The steering box has been rebuilt with new parts. It is all steel and has a very nice driver quality paint job in Valley and Balsom Green with powder coated Tacoma Cream wheels. It has four new tires and five new metal stem tubes. It was originally a trunk car. The previous owner converted it to a rumble seat. but I changed it back to a trunk. because although a rumble is a nice novelty option. it is worthless for touring. We were constantly taking the seat cushions out for luggage space. I wouldnever own a coupe without a trunk again. The seat riser in the back was a pop rivet mess. so I retro fitted a sedan floor in it's place. The already large trunk is now really huge with an additional 2 cubic feet of space. The floor toward the front of the trunk area has surface rust. It is not the correct sheet metal for this area. and I would just put some POR 15 on it to hold off the rust and let it go. or you can replace it with the correct piece available from aftermarket suppliers. The plating is nice and everything works like it should. The only deviation on the interior is the vinyl seat cover. It is high quality and not as itchy as the original mohair. This is a real nice looking car. but is not perfect. Although we have driven it in all kinds of weather. the paint is still very nice with a minimum of nicks. There is no rust or scratches that I know of. nbsp;except on the edge of the trunk lid where the paint got pinched adjusting the hinges. The carburetor is aftermarket and may be a little small for this application. It will run 55. but takes a while to get there. An original Zenith would probably improve breathing for better performance. This sale includes a Beverly Hills car cover. I have a clear Michigan title matching the engine number. I can store this great car for a while if you need to arrange shipping. Thanks for looking. and feel free to contact me if you need any more pictures or information.
