Ford Mustang 1969 Description

A survivor 1969 Mach 1 Mustang. I pulled this car out of a barn in 2007 and slowly accumulated the parts that I would need to bring it back from sitting there since 1986. It is a very solid car with good gaps, ever crashed or bent. The doors, ood, nd trunk fit very well. A rare late build of an S code Mustang that is one of the last built. Accoding to the Marti report this car was built on July 22 1969 and all of Mustang production closed on July 25 1969. The 390 FE engine was not offered in 1970.I did have 3 of the floor pans professionally replaced as they were very thin. No other rust is apparent except very small spots on lower door corners which i chose not to fix and leave it for the next person to paint or not. The paint is largely original with flaws as expected for a daily driver from so long ago. Some are shown in the pictures.I have spent considerable time and effoft on the following to make it drive well and appealing as possible without painting it.Every bit of every brake parts have been done. Power brake booster, aster and wheel cylinders, ll new steel brake lines, rums on rear, otors on front, ew shocks, ew heater core, ew headliner, ash, nd front door panels, new Coker wide oval tires that look great, ll power steering hoses and ram replaced. new gas tank and sender, riginal Am radio repaired and works great along with all light, gauges, achometer, tc work great. Most exterior chrome has been replaced with the originlal pieces to go with the car if the buyer wants great cores that are very straight. Original Jack, ug wrench and spare are in the trunk. All fluids have been changed and the original carburetor has been rebuilt. The originl air cleaner is intact as it should be. It runs and stops great with no smoke, eaks, r odd noises. 9 inch equalock differential is quiet .I have the Marti report, ll original shop manuals, iring diagrams, wners manual and some rare original sales brochures . A copy of the original window sticker from Marti shows the car to have cost $3927.45. Please call with any questions or for more photos or to see the car in person.
