Ford Fairlane 1964 Description
I have been selling old cars since 1999 I have sold 150+ cars and this is the very best barn find I have ever had the pleasure to run across . I paid dearly for it but . I had to offer it out there so someone could bring it back to its former glory !! Before I go any further . if you can . please please come to Hickory NC and see this car . If you win this auction and don't love it as much as i do then don't buy it . no harm no foul . This car is complete and the only piece of rust I can find is in the rocker on the drivers side (about the size of a quarter ) and the battery box . This is a real Wimbledon White with red interior and bucket seat car. Its a factory 3spd manual on the column . I do not think it has the org. 289 . The exhaust manifolds say D1 to make me think its a 71 302 . Its not locked up and spins over easily . I have a 65 4bbl intake and a 66 autolite carb that comes with it . I also have a dent free drivers fender an a spare hood that come with it . I want 5k for this baby but you find another with rust free floors . quarters . hood . and everything else . I would get it running for you but . I cant get around very good (waiting to get a hip replacement ) The hubcaps are as new . Everything on this car is very straight . The pictures do not give this old girl any credit . Thats the primer you see under the white paint . Call me at 828-448-5223 my name is David . If your paying i will have it shipped . Look at the pics . if you need more pictures text or call . Its the best fairlane Ive seen waiting to be fixed . Look it over and bid with confidence that you dont have to pay if you dont love it . I could not get my pictures to up load the way I planned . Text or call me and I will send you to my dropbox account to let you see them . Yes i have a buy it now for five thousand but do not let that stop you from bidding . If your a frugal shopper you can restore this baby for less than 11k and have a 20000+ car . If you need me to help guide you on that I will be glad to . thanks for looking .
