This 1966 Mustang coupe has been restored to perfection with no expense spared. It has a rebuilt original 289 V8 engine with a new Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor and aluminum intake manifold. It is equipped with a rebuilt automatic transmission. factory power steering and power front disc brakes. This Mustang has an original floor and quarter panels with NO patch panels or rust in them ever. This exceptional car has one of the nicest original chassis I've ever seen. It has less than 20 miles on it since a nut and bolt tear down and rebuild. The engine. trans. front suspension. brakes and interior have all been rebuilt. It has a new pony interior and new base/clear coat paint sanded and polished to a high luster gloss. The body is likely straighter than it was coming from the factory. It has American Racing 17X7 polished aluminum wheels and of course. new tires. This 66 Mustang has over $14. 00 in new parts alone. not counting the labor of installation. It has been disassembled. painted and then reassembled. Nothing on the body was just masked off. but rather it was removed and restored then reassembled. Every part on this car was handled. tested. replaced. rebuilt or refurbished. Not only does this car look new. more importantly it smells new. Everything works except the radio. having been installed just to fill the hole. The right fender has not been drilled for an antenna. however if the purchaser wants a reproduction 1966 antenna installed in the original location I'd be happy to do it. The engine and transmission perform flawlessly and the car drives like new. It steers straight down the road no matter whether you're braking or cruising. There are no rattles and it's a smooth and responsive drive. The new exhaust system is equipped with Turbo type mufflers for an aggressive sound.
