This is a 2 owner rig. A good buddy ORDERED this from Detroit in 1982. It is a top of the line XLT Lariat with every single option except A/C. He added the Hurricane Wheels. tube grill. brush guard. Cibie lights. Kenwood stereo. CB radio. tinted windows and tow kit right away. This truck has never been wrecked. or even hit. The top has NEVER been off! It has been garage kept all of it's life. It was 4 wheeled once. and just to drive across the Russian River for fun. Otherwise. snow only for Tahoe ski trips. My friend was a competitive water skier and had a matching light weight flat bottom ski boat. That got this truck in Water Ski Magazine in the late 80's as Rig of the Year. The original 5. 8 motor does leak a small amount of oil. but runs 100% solid. The auto tranny was rebuilt about 30k ago. This truck is so tight you could drive it anywhere. This is a numbers matching truck and to my knowledge the only non original item. that is not regular replacement. is the air cleaner. The battery and the alternator are new. The stereo is a full custom. 6 x 9's in back in a custom built box that hides the 10 disc changer and amp system. There are 2 custom 3 inch speakers in the front. It also has a remote unit. There is a Sirius Antenna mounted and functional. An OG CB radio is mounted under the front seat. The Cibie lights all are in good condition. The custom blue cloth interior was added around 1985 and has no rips or tears. The drivers visor is stuck. but a new attachment will take care of that if so inclined. The suspension in this truck has never been altered or lifted. It is OG height. ZERO rust. Other needs are a rear package tray light fixture on the drivers side panel. and a heater core. Tires are next to new and the rest of this truck is all good!It has just been registered and smogged. so it is good to go. So original it is scary! An absolute survivor rig and total time warp.
