great looking 1956 thunderbird convertible w/ lift off hardtop 312 cid w/ 4 barrel carb rated at 225 hp dual exhaustoriginal ford-o-matic transmission has power steering and power brakes body was originally black the paint was redone down to bare metal any areas needing attention were repaired the body is straight with no waves the red paint is excellent all body lines are straight the undercarriage is in good condition with no rust the trunk area is excellentpaintwork is excellent the interior is in good condition some of the brightwork shows some age steering wheel is in good shapethe upholstery is well done could use some refurbishing in some of the interior but a nice appearance overall headliner in hardtop is good condition tires are Denman classic iv in the proper size they are in excellent shape carpets and floormats are in good condition fender skirts in the trunk runs and drives very well good power transmission shifts good brakes and steering have good feel a great driver that is sure to be collectable for many years to come local history for over 40 years questions pmark@live.com
