Ford Thunderbird 1955 Description

I have a gorgeous 1955 Ford Thunderbird for sale. She is done in the iconic black/white color combo. She has been restored a few years ago and looks great. I bought the car two years ago from a dealer already restored. So, don’t have any data regarding when it was restored.

This car comes with automatic transmission, ower steering, ower brakes, ower windows, ower seats and telescoping steering wheel. She is loaded! It has a great black paint job and comes with the white hard top and a black soft top. The paint job is very shiny without any orange peel, xidation or loss of luster. The body is straight…which it has to be for a black paint…and it looks really sharp. The hard top does not have the porthole which is correct for the '55 T-birds and the soft top is in great shape. The underneath is as clean as the top. The 292 cu in engine runs great.

Although this car is in really good shape it does have a few flaws that should be mentioned. The radio and clock don’t work (which is typical with these old cars) as well as the temperature gauge isn’t working properly…I think it just needs a new sending unit. The chrome bumpers are very shiny without pitting but do have some scratches down to the metal on them…they can be seen in the pics.

Overall, would rate this car to be in solid #2 condition and wouldn't take much to put into a #1 condition. I planned on doing that with her but I have to make room in my garage and she needs to find a new home.
