Ford Thunderbird 1971 Description

We purchased this classic from the original owner in 2009 with 21, 00 actual miles on it. When the owner drove it home for the first time, his wife noticed a scratch on the fender. He took it back to the dealer who tried to repair the scratch with touch up paint. It did not match so after several trips to the dealer, the dealer decided to repaint the whole car. All of this took place within the first month of owning the car. You'll see some minor over spray caused by the Ford dealer. I've had 2 different body shops tell me that it is definitely 1971 paint. The owner also was very much into Zeebart and evidently had it touched up every year. But there is no rust so it definitely worked Only repairs include rocker panels and a number of parts under the hood and one small paint touch up on the left rear fender. The list is available upon request as well as more photos. The car is equipped with the automatic temperature control system which has a history of usual repairs such as sensors and possible vacuum issues. Both the air conditioning and the heater works great.
