1948 FORD RAMP TRUCK ON A FORD MOTOR HOME CHASSIS

Ford Other 1948 Description

This is a 1948 Ford ramp truck built on a Ford motor home chassis with a 182" wheel base. It has a nice running 400M motor, transmission shifts fine (acts like has a shift kit) and power brakes are up. This is a neat vehicle that looks like it was used for transporting a nostalgia stock car. Has pull out ramps, 8000 lb winch, duel wheels (tires are all nice) and we bought a set of running boards that never got installed. She has power steering, power brakes, air tank and built in tool box.... We bought this a few years back, got her running and driving but never went any further. The vehicle should be gone over be for any road trips.... We are just looking to get some of our money back and see someone who will put her back on the road........ This is an excellent vehicle to do the flea markets with or to haul your rat rod to the shows.......... We have way to many projects (over 40) and are thinning out the herd. When Val bought this a few years back it was delivered to us from up north on a large rollback as it was not running or drivin. it should also fit on a equipment trailer or even a 2 car trailer for pickup............I know some of these are very limited for transport but this is not oversized where you need a large tractor trailer transport.......
