Ford Ranchero 1972 Description

This car has a strong 400Cleveland that had been rebuilt by the previous owner. It has hooker headers and classic craiger rims. It has the GT hood on it still haveoriginal hood. It will start after trying for awhile and adjusting engine settings carb and such. It will not stay running. I believe it needs a good tune up carb timing adjustments etc. Then it is drive able as is. Body wise it does have scratches dings and rust. Behind the back wheels have some rust through as well as the bottom back corner of the passenger door. The front end needs a new grill. The interior is usable as is but could use being redone to make it look better as it does have weathering. Even as is once the tune up and adjustments are made so that it stays running and its given a little bit of clean up this car/truck is a fun powerful car that will attract attention. It is the same one year only front end and oval grill on the 1972 Grand Torino same car that was in the Clint Eastwood movie Grand Torino. This car has the project potential of being an amazing show stopper. I do not believe it will take much to get it running well again. It does have body work that needs attention to make it really shine. It has been a fun car. I have other projects to work on and just don't have the time and interest anymore so I'd love to see this go to someone who will enjoy it as I did and put the work into it to make it the awesome car it can be.
