What we have here is a lovely example of an unrestored 1965 Ford Fairlane Sports Coupe with 23,175 miles on the odometer; she is finished in Teal Blue with a White roof which is complemented by a very nice Black vinyl interior. Overall, his car is in an extremely good and original condition and she runs and drives perfectly.
This 1965 Ford Fairlane Sports Coupe has no appreciable rust at all. She has all her original fender panels, loors and trunk pan and has the expected surface rust on the underside of the car. She has a patina which is evident in the pictures but what you see is mostly primer, ot rust and leaving her as is will definitely win survivor awards at any local show. Conversely, he is a super restoration candidate because of her solid condition and original sheet metal.
The interior is in outstanding condition and the bucket seats and console are not common options in this year; in fact the console is a valuable item on its own as finding one in decent condition is difficult at best. The engine is her original 289cid V8 which starts and runs effortlessly. We performed a compression test on the motor and every cylinder is in the area of 125psi; a very good result. The motor is coupled to its original 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and rear end.
