1965 Ford Mustang GT Fastback 4-speed with 289 ci 4bbl v8 225 hp. Numbers matching A code. Original engine, ransmission, nd rear end. All 3 were rebuilt in 1999. Only 6500 miles since the overhaul. Restored to showroom condition. Laser straight paint. Pictures of the restoration and receipts for work performed. Engine gone through top to bottom, ew clutch, ll new rubber gaskets and hoses. No rust EVER! Still has the red oxide primer under neath. Once again, here is absolutely no rust anywhere and the car was restored to SHOW quality. Car was repainted only once in 1999. Purchased from the original owner. Sat in the garage for 25years prior to restoration. Every square inch of the car was addressed.
Runs and drives perfect. Needs nothing. Car was originally red.

This is a lifelong Bay Area car (built in San Jose, A). CAR HAS NO RUST ANYWHERE!!! Original red oxide primer is still visible under neath. No rust EVER!!!! During the restoration, o sheetmetal work was ever done. Entire car was sanded down, rimered, locked, ealed, nd then painted (2 stage - basecoat/clearcoat). All the chrome was replaced. I have a 2" thick binder with receipts and pictures of the entire restoration.
Clutch is strong and crisp, ngine sounds healthy and tough, eeps idle, oesnt miss, oesnt smoke, ccelerates smooth, ound system is awesome, ar handles incredibly, tays planted on the ground during hard cornering, verall a great car!!! Clean CA title, urrent registration and insurance (insured value is $60k).
