Ford Mustang 1969 Description

In 1969 Ford introduced a luxury model for their popular Mustang line. Some doubted the blend of performance and luxury but the public responded by purchasing 22000+ Grande Mustangs. It's easy to understand why they were so well received when you look at this extremely well preserved '69 Mustang with the Grande package. Equipped with what is believed to be the original drivetrain this Pony Car has a lot going for it. Lets take a closer look. Wearing a coat of the factory correct Meadowlark Yellow this Grande coupe's looks are even more sporty thanks to the addition of BOSS 302 decals. The paint is in really good shape and is a breath of fresh air with the subtle and classy color compared to most Mustangs we see. Fit and finish are good and about what you'd expect for 1969 production line assembly techniques. Body panels are smooth and appear virgin. The chrome bumpers are in excellent shape and the chrome trim does not disappoint either. And if you look closely at this luxury-oriented Grande you'll also note the dual exhaust sport mirrors and a chin spoiler that's part of the incongruous look that helps make this one so cool.Inside the Grande got the full lux treatment with high back black bucket seats and plenty of faux wood treatment that gives it a very upscale feel. The seats themselves are just remarkably well preserved with no splits or tears and only the most minor signs of use. A center console factory A/C power locks and a tilt wheel are nice features and even an upgraded AM/FM/CD player is housed in the dash. What appear to be the original gauges still show crisp markings and clear lenses as they sit behind a three-spoke GT steering wheel. In front of the passenger seat you'll find Grande badging and a cool functional analog clock. Below the rear spoiler a detailed trunk houses the covered spare tire. What would luxury be without a little performance to back it up? Lift the hood and you'll unveil a 302ci V8 decked out in FoMoCo blue. The engine bay comes fully sorted wearing power steering front power disc brakes and air conditioning. Bolted to the Ford small block is a highway ready automatic transmission. Spent gasses travel out a true dual exhaust and exit out the aforementioned cutouts in the rear valence. Underneath the Mustang you will find no signs of rust or floorpan replacement. At the corners 14" Magnum rims have been wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A rubber. The Grande still stands today as a luxurious performance minded pony car. The look and power of this car is still as sought after as it was when it rolled off the assembly line nearly 50 years ago. So don't miss out on owning your dream car. Call today!
