Ford F-100 1956 Description

1956 Ford f100 for saleI pulled this truck out of the tall grass here in Northern California. I decided to give it a rustic patina look to compliment its already original sun baked body. This is an original fleet vehicle from the construction industry but I designed it after the CDF "California Dept. of Forestry" Service. Details-short bed stepside-original green paint-3 speed manual column shifter.-223 straight six cylinder.-brand new battery-brand new fuel pump-recent plugs wires cap and air filter-aluminum radiator w/engine coolant flush-custom fabricated tubular 4 link rear suspension-entry level air ride system front/rear-fab'd up some cool rustic steel bumpers-vintage chrome moon caps and trim rings-Beautiful original patina-intentional patina tastefully added to the body-door logos and pinstripe hand painted and distressed to give the truck that vintage look-holly carb. needs to be tuned.-compression is strong. 130's accross the board.-headlights and tail lights need to be wired up.-Bill of Sale. DMV records show that its a clear title with no back fees. The motor is strong and the throttle is very responsive. Clutch grabs well. This truck has some body filler here and there. Then paint blended with patina. This truck does have some cancer in the floor pans and front roof gutter (which adds to its tastefull theme). Cab corners are solid rockers are solid. The pictures speak for themselves that this is one of the coolest trucks in town. It gets tons of compliments and nods while driving her. The coolest part about firing the truck up is that you "throw the electric chair switch" mounted above the rearview mirror.Email me at: chad@rigidgarage.com for detailed close up pics of noted imperfections. This truck is also for sale outside of Ebay. i reserve the right to end the auction if sold before auction ends.
