Ford Galaxie 1967 Description
1967 Ford Galaxie 500 LTD. Z code 390. Automatic PB PS factory in dash AC that still blows cold air. This car is a sweet hart original survivor. I drove this car for about 200 miles just last week end and it runs and drives very good.Ford built 48803 LTD 2-door hardtops during the 1967 model year. Of those 48803 units 5090 were painted Dark Moss Green (COLOR code "Y") like this car an installation rate of 10.43%.Of those 48803 units 726 were painted Dark Moss Green (COLOR code "Y") with a white or parchment vinyl roof like this car an installation rate of 1.49%. That makes this survivor a very rear car. CONDITIONThis car runs and drives very well. From what I was told I am the third owner. It has been garage kept all of it's life and it shows. As you can see in the pics; there is no rust on the car. The floors and trunk are solid. It has a real good running 390 that just peers like a kitten. The transmission shifts smoothly as it should. The air conditioning is all hooked up and still even blows cold air. The interior shows a small amount of wear with a small separation spot at the top of each front seat back and the rear seat has some sun damage at the top of the rear seats up near the back window very typical. SEE PICSThe clock does not currently work but it is there along with all of the other dash components that all seam to work properly. The brakes currently work but need some attention. At a minimum it needs a new master cylinder. and may need some brake line work as there is brake flued under the master cylinder indicating a leek but the brakes currently work and stop the car just fine. Although in my opinion the rear brakes could use some adjusting as well. No mirrors. the rear view mirror is there but not installed. and left side mirror not functioning properly. Not sure if it can be adjusted or or if it needs replaced.Recently repainted to factory color; Dark Moss Green (COLOR code "Y") The car looks to have been repainted once at some point in its life. It was not the original color or it had faded prety bad. At best it was a 20/20 paint job; Looks good from 20 feet away doing 20 miles per hour. But upon close inspections has some small chips and dings here and there. nothing major no bent metal rust or holes anywhere. I tried to buff it out but the paint would not shine up. I did put a new paint job on it bringing the car back to it's original factory color; Dark Moss Green (COLOR code "Y") The body is very straight and there are no signs of ever being wrecked. Everything lines up good the doors close easily and the windows all roll up and down smoothly. Trunk opens easily and is in great condition with what looks like original carpet still in good condition. NO RUSTI cant find any rust on this car. Not even in the bottom of the finder wells it is just beautiful.TermsAsk any and all question before placing a bid. A 500.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of winning this auction.
