Up for auction is a knockout 68 Mustang Fastback. This is a show and go car. It is fast, t is dependable, nd it is fun to drive and rides and handles excellent. It comes with a Deluxe Marti Report also.

As stated above this professional Mustang restoration was completed in 2011/2012. It has approximately 4,500 good weather miles since that time, nd it has been adult owned. The car has also been garage kept and well cared for. It’s a nice car!

The body is straight and it is slick. The body was disassembled and the old paint was taken off using the razor blade technique to protect the metal instead of using a DA sander. This technique keeps the body lines straighter without waves. The car got new Ford front fenders and inner fenders as well as new Ford rear quarters, ew front and rear valence panels, nd a new hood. It also got all new trim, ail light chrome, umpers, ood hinges and radiator support. It also has all new rubber seal at the doors, indows, nd trunk area. The body prep and paint was done by a professional paint shop and it was done right. The color is Bright Red and it is color sanded and buffed to make it very slick with a great shine. The wheels are brand new Magnum 500’s with new BFG Radial TA’s.

The interior was completely done in 2011 also with new underlay, ew carpet, eat covers, oor panels, andles and knobs, ill plates, nd new floor mats and new CD player. It has new wood grain steering wheel and a B& M shifter as well as Autometer gauges. The interior looks nice.

The engine is a 302/390hp crate engine from Ford Racing Performance Parts. This motor features:

10.0:1 compression ratio
Ford Racing aluminum “Z” cylinder heads

(2.02 in, ntake valves, nd 1.60 in. exhaust valves)
Ford Racing Z303 hydraulic roller camshaft

(569" lift intake and exhaust, uration at .050" is 228 degrees intake and exhaust)
Ford Racing aluminum roller rocker arms
Forged aluminum pistons
Heavy-duty forged steel connecting rods

Double roller timing chain

Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake

Holley 650cfm double pumper carburetor

Hooker coated headers

Polished Ford Racing valve covers

Northern aluminum radiator w/dual electric Spal fans

Ford Racing blue wires

MSD box/MSD ignition/Optima Red Top battery

The engine bay is clean & detailed with chrome strut & Monte Carlo bar. It has power steering and a security cut-off switch as well.

This motor starts up easy and it runs excellent. It is a strong pulling engine!

The transmission is a C4 that was completely rebuilt and with a shift kit.

The rear end is an 8” with new Posi 3:89 gear Ratio.

The underside is clean and solid. It has a new gas tank, ew shocks, raction bars, nd new aluminized exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The car sounds as good as it looks. You can hear the car coming down the road!

This is not a numbers matching, ll original, orrect everything Mustang.

What this car is a very nicely restored, astback Mustang in a great color and an awesome running machine.

1968 Mustangs Fastbacks are hard to find and especially in this condition.
