1938 Ford Coupe, ice clean straight hot rod. The motor is a Mercruiser 454 out of an new Talon speed boat (1998) currently has approx 19000 miles. This is a roller cam motor rated at 330 hp edelbrock intake, emon carb, rans is a turbo 350 fresh rebuild. All new 9 inch ford rear currently 3.00 gears. Stock chassis boxed, ith Progressive Automotive front crossmember with 84 Corvette front suspension with QA1 coilovers. Rear suspension is Chris Alston chassis works street 4 link with QA1 coilovers. Chassis is back halved with 2x4 tubing. Chassis is gloss black powdercoated. Mini wheel tubs, ock Valley stainless steel fuel tank 16 gallon with internal electric fuel pump. Rear wheels 17x12 smoothies from Pete Paulson chrome rim painted centers with Diamond Back whitewalls 335-35-17 tires, ronts are 16x6 with 165-45-16 Diamond Back tires. Thunderbird power steering rack. Alternator, tarter, s pump all new. Body is straight as an arrow gaps are excellant, it and finish is excellant. Jefferis autobody 1 piece windshield. Lokar shifter, hrottle cable and kickdown. Beede gauges and all work as they should. stainless steel exhaust with flowmaster hushpower mufflers, ot loud at all. Stainless steel brake hoses. ECI power brakes and residual pressure valves. Power windows. Vintage heater that was recored, ut not hooked up. Paint is acrylic enamel with a flattener added. A few stone chips in front fenders around headlights. This car was built with a traditional emphasis but modern street rod mechanicals. Was featured in American Rodder and Street Thunder Magazines, nd Calender by Rich Chenet, umerous awards including Goodguys picks at Hershey shows. Very reliable car.
