Ford Mustang 1966 Description
This is a real factory GT coupe- it has not been made into one as many have. It also has the deluxe interior ( Pony ) as you can see from the pictures. This car runs and drives but deserves a restoration of sorts. The body is pretty straight with no major dents or dings- but-it will need some rust repair in the car. The rust areas are the two front fenders down low - one rear quarter underneath- some over the wheel wells and the pans are original. The interior is original and will need carpet - soiled and a little faded. The dash pad has one crack. The steering wheel has some cracks also. All the GT equipment is in place- exhaust, lights, speedo - disc brakes etc. PLEASE CALLS ONLY to go over the car.. I want the new owner to know exactly what this car is.........So if you have any questions or concerns-CALL. This is a nice little car that needs work but is really worth doing being a real GT- Pony interior car.Note- I may be able to help with transport to the east coming from Colorado - I will be going to Michigan several times this summer. We live about 45 minutes north of Denver, Colorado- I would prefer bidders see the car in person or send someone to do that for you but again I am happy to go over the car with anyone over the phone. Please Call George at 303-823-8777 home or cell 303-709-6053.........Another Note- I plan of listing the car locally for sale as well and if I were to get a reasonable offer I would like to be able to remove the car from the auction site-hope this is ok with everyone...........On May-16-15 at 09:25:54 PDT, seller added the following information:I appreciate the calls and responses on the Mustang to this point. This morning I reduced the asking price. I may have been a little over critical of the car as one person who came to look at it for someone has told me.........Anyway if you have questions as we get to the end of the auction please feel free to call...................
On May-16-15 at 09:31:57 PDT, seller added the following information:Several people have asked about the door tag..... mostly DSO 51 - Date-03F - Axle 0219 - Trans 1- Trim 62A- 65B model- this way you can see it came from a dry climate ( Denver, olorado ) and is a real pony interior car...........
