Ford Business Coupe 1937 Description

Offering a clean, raditional look, his 1937 Ford coupe deserves a very close look. Impeccably built to the highest standards, t has a subtle air to it that only serves to highlight the incredible attention to detail throughout. V8 power, ll the power accessories you'd want, nd ready to enjoy, his is one of those rods that gets even better from behind the wheel. The '37 Ford coupe has one of the most distinctive looks and the smooth, aired-in headlights were a trend-setting feature that drove the entire industry forward. Finished in classic and elegant burgundy paint, t has an appropriate look that never seems over-done. No flames, o graphics, nd all the sheetmetal is as Henry intended, hich only serves to highlight the beautiful build quality that much more. Fit and finish are outstanding, ith great gaps and incredibly flat panels that mean someone worked a lot of overtime. All the original trim was retained, ncluding the swept-back grille and iconic teardrop headlamps and culminating with a pair of original taillights up on their original perches. A few subtle gold pinstripes highlight the car's many curves and the rear deck lid was shaved and smoothed for a clean look. Original chrome bumpers look great and actually add some useful protection, hile the license plate disappears from view under the car every time you park. It's quite tasteful inside, oo, ith a leather-lined passenger compartment that pays tribute to the past but stands firmly in the 21st century. Sure, hat pleated leather seats and matching door panels look like they're straight out of the '30s, ut the folding armrests, ower windows, nd slightly more comfortable rake mean it's built for driving. The dash has been beautifully reworked to house a billet instrument panel full of Dakota Digital instruments. There's also a custom fabricated center console with the Kenwood AM/FM/iPod stereo head unit and controls for the Vintage Air A/C system. The crank-open windshield is still fully functional and there's also a tilt column with a matching leather-wrapped steering wheel. Simple is usually better, nd the trunk offers more tan carpets, imple side panels, space-saver spare tire, nd plenty of storage space for long trips.Reliable, mooth performance is what you'd expect from a rod that looks like this, nd the ZZ4 350 cubic inch crate motor under the hood delivers. With an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, t starts instantly and idles properly every time, nd things like power steering and brakes are included. A recessed firewall is finished to the same high standards as the rest of the bodywork, nd service access is excellent. There's a big aluminum radiator up front, custom A-arm front suspension with rack-and-pinion steering, nd a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission powering a set of 2.56 gears in the 10-bolt, o it's a fantastic highway cruiser. Edelbrock long-tube headers feed a custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and while it's not detailed for show, he dirty undercarriage proves his car works right. Chrome steel wheels with baby moon hubcaps and trim rings are protected by a set of staggered 195/60/15 front and 235/60/15 rear BFGoodrich T/A radials.Totally sorted, ncredibly reliable, nd still beautiful, his '37 Ford isn't about making a scene, ut you'll probably discover that it draws a crowd better than just about anything else.
