Ford Model T 1927 Description

For sale is a nice restored 1927 Ford Touring car. This car was at the Centennial at Greenfield Village in 2008 and was restored fully in the 1990s. This is not a trailer queen but a serious Touring for touring. Has the normal wear & tears of adriver car but with solid sheet metal and good suspension= great driving car. The car was rebuilt by a certified mechanic who belonged to a Model T club and bought the best and most reliable equipment. Here are the highlights of the car from when it was rebuilt:

1. Rebuilt engine, rans and rear-end: aluminum pistons, ne-piece valves, luminum head and

new bearings.

2. Rocky Mountain Brakes and new transmission drums with Kevlar bands.

3. Good reliable distributor system & new carburetor.

4. Newer radiator and hoses with motometer (always stays cool).

5. All lights work, ncluding turn signals and brake-activated duel brake lights.

6. Two 1920s period spotlights and an electric windshield wiper.

7. Full set of new side-curtains.

8. Top boot for the roof.

9. Safety glass in windshield.

10. Good roof and interior, he interior does have some wear and a few small rips from scooting.

11. Good tires and tubes on wire-wheels, hich have been balanced.

12. New generator, ut-out and starter were added.

13. All new wiring was put in when restored.

14. Speedometer on dashboard.

15. Dual external engine oilers- one for the main front bearing and one to recirculate from transmission.

16. Safety lock-out system to prevent theft (lever under the driver’s seat to cut off all power).

Has a clear title in my name. The car starts, rives and stops well- no issues and will give years of good service. The burgundy paint job is beginning to show age and has begin to craze in places like the dashboard and cowl. It is a driver and looks very sharp, ut up-close it will show the wear on it in places. Please ask any questions you have and I’d be happy to answer them. The car does come with a new specially matched can of burgundy paint in case someone wishes to re-paint or just do some touch-ups, nd an original working Model T iron jack and running-board luggage rack.

Thanks for looking, try to be as thorough as I can but opinions about condition can vary- so please ask. I can help load but the car must be paid for before removal. A $300 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours is requested and balance is due upon pick-up or before. A safe bank-to-bank wire transfer is preferred but cash works as well. Thanks again!

**I havea Youtube.com video of a walk-around of the Model T while it is running. It is a very quiet car as you can tell from the footage. It is located by the title, 927 Ford Model T Touring Car for Sale.
