Ford Other 1932 Description
Offered here is one of the very nicest street rods we have every had! This is a beautiful 1932 Ford 2 Door Victoria Coupe which was lovingly built by a local enthusiast here in the Kansas City area. The car is finished in a wonderful coat of Yellow paint over beige interior and the bottom of the car is every bit as nice as the top. The underside features all polished and painted components which result in a show car in every sense of the word, nd this car possesses the awards and magazine features to show for it!The car was constructed on a custom Deuce Factory frame utilizing a Super Bell axle in a narrowed 67 Fairlane 8" unit, link suspension, euce Factory shocks, nd Posie springs. For stopping power, uper Bell front brakes were utilized on Ford spindles along with chrome 67 Fairlane drums in the rear. For wheels, he owner decided to go with Weld 14*5.5 in the front and Weld 15*8 in the rear. Atop all of this sits a fiberglass body by Art Gooding with a Rootlieb hood and Ford Obselete Hood. All this is complimented by Ford Obsolete mirrors along with from and rear bumpers which are chromed and polished on both sides!
The car has just had a brand newbeigeinterior installed in the last year utilizing 1976 Capri seats, icro Digital instruments, GM sound system, nd vintage air unit with a Sankyo compressor. This is all finished with a Grant steering wheel and tinted glass!
The car is powered by a 289CI Fairlane motor which has been fully balanced and dressed out with chrome and matching yellow paint. A Holley carb sits on top and the motor breaths through porcelainized manifolds and chrome pipes with Hooker mufflers. The entire setup is cooled with a Walker radiator and cooling fan. Power istransferredthrough a Ford C4 transmission with a B&M shift kit installed.
All the attention to detail on this car has lead to the car being featured in a number of magazines. It has appeared in theFebruary2006 Street Rodder, arch 2004 Rod and Custom, anuary 1992 Street Rodder (where it was featured), ovember 1989 Super Ford, nd August 2003 Street Scene! The car has alsoreceiveda number of awards at national and regional shows.
