Very Nice New Mexico 1958 F100 Short Box V-8 Custom Cab. I purchased this truck out of New Mexico 3-4 years ago with intent of restoring it. Was in NM all it's life until I purchased it. Haverestored four & owned about 101958's. But all I did was drive it into my climate controlled shop & it sat. Sadly I realize I will never get to it as I have way too many vehicles & not just trucks.

So pulled it out recently. Fired right up & runs great. Yes it was stored with non-ethanol gas. Have since put new fresh non-ethanol gas in it. Did have to rebuild brake master cylinder, nstall a new clutch master cylinder & rebuild clutch slave cylinder. Everything works on truck & it drives nice.

Would really clean up with a buff & wax as it has great patina. If I was going to keep it that is what I would do. Look at the two last pictures on one of my '77 Bronco's. You can see the way I received it (Basically paint job in same shape at this '58 F100 & then the after photo after buff & wax! Now I just drive that Bronco!!

The bed does have a piece of angle iron at intersection of front wall & bed. Assume the two separated, ut it is hard to tell with angle in place. Also does have some rust through in front LH corner of bed floor. See pics for both. There is NO OTHER RUST.
