Ford Mustang 1966 Description

Here we have a 1966 K code Mustang Fastback project that was originally finished in the highly desireable color of Candy Apple Red on Red Standard Interior. It is a factory 4 speed car with a non locking 3.50 rearend. It is not a GT. It has a clean and current Title, t has the original data plate and the fenders are stamped with the correct VIN number. It is a genuine 1966 K code fastback. It does not have power steering or power brakes. It has the correct HCC AX, 6:1 steering box with a mid November assembly date that lines up properly with the cars assembly date of early December 1965. It is a Dearborn built car. It needs floors, trunk, ork to the quarters and fenders. In other words, t has rust in the usual Mustang places. It is a project but a very worthwhile one.The upper part of the vehicle is in surprisingly good shape and will need only minimal work. The frame is also in very nice shape, s are the shock towers. The interior interior is complete with most, f not all of the hard to find fastback stuff. I absolutely will assist in the loading of this car for shipping, o problem at all.
This car is being sold as a rolling shell in this auction however I do have the following parts available seperately and at extra cost should someone win this auction. You are not obligated to buy these parts should you win the auction for the car however I will make them avaiilable to you if you wish. These parts were purchased from a previous owner and are thought to be original however like many cars of the era they are not VIN stamped, that I can see anyway). The casting dates on these items however, re perfect for this car. They are not for sale seperately at this time;
A 1966 289 K Code short block, o VIN stamp, L1 build date. Correct main caps, ods, am shaft, rank, istons etc being rebuilt at the moment by a local machine shop to proper K code specs.
A 1966 HEH BX 4 speed transmission with a casting date of 5K, orrect date and transmission for this car..
This is a 7 day auction.
Please note,I am not interested in the endless debates that people seem to want to have about these kinds of cars. Very simply put, his is a REAL1966 K code Fastback, ith a clean Title, he proper VIN stampings and an original data plate, eriod.
International buyers welcome. Inspections welcome and encouraged. $1,000 non refundable deposit due with 48 hours of auction close.
Happy bidding!
