Ford Other 1934 Description

I'm selling my 1934 Ford three window coupe to buy a finished street rod. This car is close to being done and is coming together nicely, but isn’t there yet. It has a strong 350 sbc with 4bbl and 5spd transmission with hydraulic clutch and Hurst shifter. Headers with dual mufflers. It runs and drives and made its maiden voyage to a small car show last weekend that was roughly 5 miles from my house. The ignition switch to starter/distrib/alternator are the only wiring hooked up. It has a new one wire chrome alternator from Summit -the alternator charges the battery as it should. I’ve just hooked up the gauges (temp, oil pressure, and amp) so they’re operational. Aluminum radiator cools well. Car has rack and pinion steering and independent front suspension. I was told TCI, but not sure - it's definitely an aftermarket front end and not from a donor car. The frame is an original 1934 - it is boxed. Aftermarket brackets hold the parallel leaf spring set up and the rear axle is from a Camaro/s-10. Has the original 1934 4-pc metal hood and an older grille. All other components including body, fenders, and trunk are quality fiberglass construction - fenders and running boards are bolt-on (not a one-piece body). Doors have power window motors and glass installed - one is missing the up/down switch but the wires are there. I ran power to the motors and ran the glass up and down in both doors. Nice new aluminum gas tank installed under trunk floor. Has original ‘34 bench seat, an old style steering column andsteering wheel that add a real nostalgic touch. This car has all the makings of a truly cool old school hot rod. All tires look new (rears are brand new). Nice 15” ralley wheels with spinners and trim rings. Navy blue paint sprayed to look thin in spots revealing red oxide primer beneath. Faux rust on trunk can easily be removed and painted blue. Great patina, but nothing fancy. Needs some finish work, including wiring, though there is a new uninstalled headlight wiring harness and a new wiring fuse block/harness sitting in trunk. The other items in the trunk are the interior window frames and a brand new battery. Both trunk and cab have sound deadening insulation on floor. I have two grille shell radiator caps. Neither sit on the new aluminum radiator. Instead, they’re just bolted onto the top of the grille shell with a stud, large washer and bolt. One is plain and in perfect condition. The other has a full stride greyhound hood ornament bolted to it. It’s ultra sturdy, but is half-painted, half chrome (perfect patina for the car).

Coupe is sold AS-IS and WHERE-IS. Would prefer to sell to someone willing to come and take her for a test drive, but understand if that not practical. I’ll help load on my end though shipping is to be arranged by buyer and is on buyer’s dime. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Payment to be made in cash or cashier’s/certified check only. The car will not leave my garage until I have verified funds in hand. The car has a current, valid Alabama registration and license plate in my name. Alabama is a non-title state on a pre-1975 vehicle and you can easily confirm this with your own DMV. Alabama will not issue a title for a 1934. Will be sold on a notarized bill of sale from me to buyer with current, valid registration and license plate given to buyer – this is allyou need for a1934 from Alabama – again, your DMVwillconfirm this.

Will consider trade offers - but ONLY 1920s and 1930s automobiles that need nothing as I have no time to work on one. If you have questions, call or text Warren at 251-463-8393.
