Up for auction is the most highly documented 48 year old car that I’ve ever seen. This 1968 Ford Mustang comes with a complete chronicled binder with every original document, very service ticket, nd every receipt for all work and service on this Mustang from 1968 until now!

This Pony was originally purchased at Downtown Ford in Sacramento California on 1-26-1968. The car was owned by that original owner for 36 years until November 5th, 004 when it was sold to a gentleman in Texas… It had 122,242 original miles at that time. The third owner from Georgia purchased this Mustang on November 6th, 013… It now has 163,671 original and documented miles.

The car comes with the original California black plates, Deluxe Mart report, he complete chronicled binder folder of receipts and documents, he original wheels and the wheels on the car, nd new NOS matching door panels not installed.

This is a Drop dead gorgeous and amazing Mustang Pony and a true piece of American history. This is a car that anyone would be very proud to own.

Paint & Body: The paint & body is an absolute drop dead knockout as you will see in the many pictures. This Mustang had one re-paint in 1986 and the car is as slick as glass and as straight as a gun barrel. The all original body is rust free. The glass is all original. The rear bumper was re-chromed in 1986 when the car was painted. It is running the American Racing wheels and radial tires (and a spare) at this time and it comes with the original 4 wheels with tires and the original hubcaps.

Interior: The interior is mostly original. The seats were recovered in 1989. All of the gauges, ights, nd the factory AM radio work. The AC and heat works also. To my knowledge everything works as it should. The original door panels are still on the car and it comes with a new matching set of NOS panels.

Engine & Drivetrain: The engine and drivetrain are all original and numbers matching to the car. Over the years there have been lots of service and some component rebuilds such as the carburetor… however the motor has not been rebuilt and it absolutely runs great. The transmission shifts smooth and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this Mustang Pony across the country right now. Normal maintenance and repair items have been replaced over the years as needed such as the water pump, hocks on two occasions, nd so on… There are 152 documents, eceipts and detailed service repairs verifying all service work done over the entire life history of this Mustang.

This is an excellent 1968 Mustang in every way. It is the most highly documented car that I have ever had and cars like this one do not come along every day. Don’t miss your chance to own a true piece of American history and real and a good honest Mustang!
