Ford Bronco II 1966 Description
Fuzzy Dice Autos
Has up for auction a rare and highly collectible 1966 Ford Bronco V8, 89!
This terrific example of an early Bronco came to us from its original owner who also kept it in a heated dry garage.
This is the very first year for the Bronco. Ninety percent were of the six cylinder variety. The V8 wasn’t introduced until March of 1966. This happens to be one of the few V8 Broncos produced that year. The VIN indicates this being a true V8, 89 vehicle. I have no reason to doubt the previous owners claim that the engine is original to the vehicle. A four barrel carb and a mild cam was added later on. The 78,000 actual mileage is documented by the title.
The “three on the tree” was removed and made into a three speed floor shifter. The four wheel drive is intact and operates as it should.
It’s all steel body is rust and damage free. The floors and under carriage are in amazing original rust free condition. The body is rock solid and the older re-paint shines nicely. Only a few very minor chips are evident very close up. The roof comes off as do the doors. And the wind shield folds down. A really neat look for the warmer months.
New additions were replaced and/or added when we bought it.
Brand new very expensiveprofessionally doneperiod correct Slate color interior .
New rear fender flares, ew Wind shield, ew brakes, ew plugs & wires. Fresh tune up. New Emergency Brake cables and much more.
The off road performance tires are practically new.
The vehicle runs, teers, rives and stops like it did in 66! The mild cam and V8 motor certainly adds to the speed and pull of the vehicle. It’s a pleasure to drive anywhere and often.
The Early Broncos continue to rise in collector value. Even the rust bucket Broncos are commanding top dollar. The future owner of this vehicle will have to do nothing but drive and enjoy her.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us for any additional information. We have under carriage and interior floor photos if desired. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a real special vehicle that will only rise in value.
Best of luck bidding!
