BOTH DOORS, RUNK AND HOOD ALL OPEN AND CLOSE CORRECTLY AND LINE UP BEAUTIFULLY. THE EXTERIOR CHROME ALL IS POLISHED AND IN GREAT CONDITION. IT HAS THE FORD FRONT & REAR ACCESSORY BUMPER GUARDS AS WELL ALONG WITH OUTSIDE FACTORY MIRRORS. IT HAS A NEW SET OF COKER TIRES INSTALLED ALONG WITH ORIGINAL SPARE IN TRUNK.IT HAS NEW A-FRAME & REAR TRAILING ARMS AND BUSHINGS. THE ORIGINAL ONES WERE DETERIORATING AND NEEDED CHANGED.IT HAS NEW TURBO MASTER DUAL EXHAUST MUFFLERS AND 5-7 LITRE HUB CAPS, RIGINAL HUB CAPS ALONG WITH FORD FENDER SKIRTS INCLUDED.THE INTERIOR IS BEAUTIFUL AND MAINLY ORIGINAL. Ford offered the LTD, he Galaxie 500XL, he Galaxie 500 7 Litre, alaxie 500, ustom 500. These were offered in hardtop, edans, nd convertible models. The LTD model had a different look with distinctive trim and ornamentation and interior trim. The 500XL was the ultimate Galaxie in 1966 with deep foam contoured bucket seats, full length console, all to wall carpeting, added dash and visors as well as special 500XL exterior ornamentation. Ford offered an impressive eight different engine choices from a standard economy six cylinder on up to the side oiler 427 engine with dual carburetion and 425 horsepower. Ford also introduced a new 428 cubic inch Thunderbird V-8 which was standard equipment on the Galaxie 7 Litre model. Transmission choices were the Synchro Smooth Drive manual transmission, 4 speed manual transmission, nd Cruise-O-Matic three speed automatic. The exterior was available in 15 Super Diamond Lustre enamels, r 23 two tone combinations as well as 42 upholstery choices.
